Delete your WHB account

In the app (fastest)
- Open WHB and go to the You tab.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account” and your username. We confirm and delete the account within 7 days.

Data that is deleted
- Your account: email address, username, password, date of birth, country, gender and all profile details
- Your profile photos and the photos in your personals and messages
- Your personals
- Your chats: the whole conversation is removed, including for the people you chatted with
- Favorites, votes, profile views, blocks, “who can message me” rules and notification settings
- Your device push notification tokens and signed-in sessions
When: immediately from our live systems; from encrypted backups within 15 days. Requests by email are completed within 7 days.
Data that is kept, and for how long
- Deletion record (the deleted username and the sign-up and deletion dates, no other personal data): kept indefinitely for security and audit purposes.
- Only if your account was removed for breaking our Terms: a one-way hash of the email address and username (it cannot be turned back into the original values), kept indefinitely to prevent the same person signing up again; and moderation and security records about the violation, kept for as long as needed to prevent fraud and abuse.
- Data we must keep by law, only for as long as the law requires.
