Child safety standards

WHB is for adults only and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion or any sexualisation of minors.

Our standards

• Adults only: every member must be 18 or older. Date of birth is required at sign-up and can’t be changed afterwards; we remove anyone who appears to be under 18 and ban them from returning.
• Prohibited content: any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is forbidden in profiles, personals, photos and messages.
• Reporting in the app: every profile, personal and chat has a Report option. Reports about minors or child safety are handled as the highest priority.
• Moderation: our moderators review reports, and automated checks screen new accounts, profiles and messages. Offending content is removed and the accounts are permanently banned.
• Law enforcement: we report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant national authorities, and preserve evidence as required by law.
